Cabhalan Cottage(sleeping six) is a cosy modernised centrally-heated crofthouse with open fires and four feet thick stone walls dating from the early 1800s. Set in a secluded, peaceful and isolated spot 100 metres from the seashore it enjoys uninterrupted views across the sea to Skye, the Cuillin Mountains and the west coast of Scotland. The nearest house is half a mile away in each direction and there is a small sheltered bay with anchorage behind the cottage. Ideal for viewing seals, otters and seabirds. Perfect for those wanting a get-away!

The accommodation consists of a living room/kitchen electric cooker, fridge/freezer and normal cooking equipment; a fully tiled bathroom with shower, toilet, wash-handbasin, two washing sinks and an automatic washing machine. The sitting room has an open fire and recess alcove double bed and wardrobe, three piece suite and television which receives 4 channels. There are two other bedrooms, one double and one with full adult-size bunk beds. Finally there is a large entrance porch and hall.

Vehicle access, down a half mile private road, is right to the door with parking for upto three cars. There is a telephone for incoming and local calls, the latter are included in the rental for those wishing to make use of the internet; also all electricity. Quilts and covers, blankets and pillows are provided but not sheets, pillowcases or towels unless specially requested.
