The apartment offers comfortable accommodation for 2 persons, rustically furnished comprising of a private entrance to a living/dining room with fitted kitchen, double bedroom and ensuite bathroom (shower), looking out over the grounds and garden. The 2 person apartment in the west wing may be combined with another separate double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower) in the east wing to give accommodation for 4 persons. This extra accommodation also has it's own private entrance and enjoys the same aspect looking out over the grounds and garden.
The kitchen has a gas hob, fridge / freezer and microwave oven. There is satellite television (English UK) and radio/CD. The double bedroom at the rear, is shaded from the sun and therefore remains cool and comfortable during the summer. There is an outside covered terrace with garden furniture providing that much needed shade in the summer.
The apartment has one double bedroom plus ensuite shower room and wc, private entrance.
The second double bedroom also has an ensuite shower room and wc, private entrance.
Combined there is room for 4 persons.
Bed linen and towels (not pool towels) are provided.
The private country house is a short distance from the medieval town centre of Sarlat. Approached via it's own private drive and gated entrance there is private parking, grounds and gardens surround the house with panoramic views over the town below. There is an exclusive private covered terrace, pool side terrace and private pool.
From the country house it is just a short walk down the hill into the centre of Sarlat with it's many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Everything is nearby so you can leave the car behind with no cares about driving, parking or having a drink with dinner.
Situated between the rivers Dordogne and Verere, Sarlat is a medieval market town and capital of the Perigord Noir. Stroll along the paved lanes of the old town or sample the Perigordian gastronomy, amongst the finest France has to offer.
Take in the hustle and bustle, the smells and noise of the market, sit at one of the cafes and watch the world go by. Sarlat has something for everyone and is a perfect base from which to set off and explore the sites and surrounding countryside.
