Croatia comes to The Villa People

The Villa People are delighted to welcome their first Croatian property to be added to our website. It is located in the small town of Postira on the charming Island of Brac. 

Few people area aware that Croatia has some of the best beaches in Europe which boast clear blue seas which are ideally suited for swimming, snorkeling and scuba diving.  

Brac is located in the Adriatic Sea and is the 3^rd largest island on the sea. The island has villages dating back to pre-Roman times. The architecture is stunning and you will be visually rewarded as you become mesmerized by the numerous white stone structures.

Did you know The White House in Washington D.C. was built from the white stone from the Island of Brac. In fact Romans used the beautiful white stone to build palaces and whole cities.

Brac has many places of interest including The Dominican Monastery in Bol, The Chapel of Saint Martin in Bobovisca and The Chapels of Dol. The island also has its own Museum with artefacts going back to the beginnings of the island.
